"I would say that CMC's major strength is their ability to provide a fun and enriching Jewish environment for my child that allowed him to form new friendships with many different people."

"My daughters felt that the staff who were running the activities (high ropes, archery, swimming, etc) were great. They were friendly & helpful. The camaraderie amongst the campers and staff was outstanding. The counselors were enthusiastic and the camp directors were really very involved and aware of the experience of each camper. The communication between CMC and us parents is outstanding and they're very responsive to any questions or issues. Overall, CMC has been a great experience for my children.

As our campers grow and progress through each division of camp they introduced to new challenges and expectations. As they enter Atid those challenges and expectations are kicked up a notch.
Our Atid Program is one designed specifically for Camp Mountain Chai campers entering 9th & 10th grade, meeting the needs of our older campers while challenging them to grow as individuals. In Atid, campers both live in the moment and look towards their future. They will focus on the values of Courage and Tzedek (Justice/ Righteousness) while building valuable skills that will benefit them at camp and at home. Atid campers have their own schedule, including planning some of their own programs.
The culmination and highlight of the Atid Program is the Atid trip. The campers embark on an incredible trip that is the envy of the entire camp. Past Atid trips have included exploring beautiful locations such as Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks, whitewater rafting in Northern California, hiking within the Grand Canyon and Sedona. These trips offer one of the greatest experiences of their camp career in addition to helping each of them understand the true meaning of teamwork and personal growth.
