Single Parent Family Retreat
May 30 - June 1, 2008
Join us for the our second San Diego Jewish Single
Parent Weekend at Camp Mountain Chai located in the beautiful San Bernardino National Forest. The weekend
promises to be an exciting get-a-way for single parents and their kids. Age specific activities will be
offered for all kids 2 to 16. We will have baby sitting available for children under 2 and great programming
for all the parents. Come spend a Shabbat weekend with other single parent families. The weekend will
give you a chance to play, relax and rejuvenate as you enjoy a beautiful weekend away from the city
up at camp.

Spring Open House
June 1, 2008
Please join us at camp for a Sunday afternoon of fun and activities.
Come and tour camp, climb up our rock wall, take a shot at archery, make a project at Arts and Crafts
and much, much more. A Kosher BBQ lunch will be provided. This is a great opportunity to meet other
Camp Mountain Chai families, and start getting excited for summer 2008!

Intergeneration Adventure for Children and Grandparents!
July 31 - August 3, 2008
It's all about Connections. Together at Camp Mountain Chai's Intergeneration Adventure, you and your grandchildren
(ages 5 to 13) can experience specially-planned programs and activities that will lead to a lifetime of memories.
We'll do the work - and you'll have the fun.
In a beautiful setting 7500 ft. in the majestic mountains of San Bernardino National Forest near Big Bear,
each family cozies up in their own spacious, rustic cabin (with carpeting, heat and indoor plumbing). Each day
of your four-day weekend is packed with lush nature walks, sports and crafts activities, memorable campfires
and the unique experience of sharing Jewish music, dance and tradition.
Long after camp is over, you'll be remembering and sharing the joyous and moving ceremony of our magical Shabbat,
and the many ways meaningful Jewish content is integrated into daily activity.
Enhance your connection with your grandchildren as you share this rich adventure - and as they
deepen their own Jewish identity.
Space for this new Intergeneration Adventure for Children - and Grandparents, is extremely limited.

Women 's Weekend
October 24-26, 2008
Camp Mountain Chai is to host its second Women 's Weekend
for the Jewish Women of San Diego County. Come join us for a special Shabbat at camp, located in the
beautiful San Bernardino National forest. Together, we will explore and nurture our emotional, intellectual,
physical and spiritual well-being.
Family Camp
November 7-10, 2008
Families with kids of all ages will enjoy fun-filled activities planned
by the Lawrence Family JCC and Camp Mountain Chai staff, delicious kosher cuisine and great company.
Our exciting weekend will include: Maccabiah games, sports, nature walks, campfires, games, arts and
crafts and music. Your family will be kept busy with all of the great things to do, so just sit back,
relax and enjoy the beauty of the surrounding mountains. Kids of all ages will love spending time with
new and old friends and developing a sense of independence in a secure and healthy environment. Adults
will be able to gather each night for exciting programming with babysitting provided.

Join us for a community Shabbaton weekend at Camp Mountain
Chai to bring children from different synagogues, movements and areas of San Diego together for a weekend
of learning and fun.
Big Boy 's Weekend
April 24-26, 2009
A San Diego community-wide retreat for Jewish men. The diverse program offers
something for everyone. If it's controversial and stimulating we discuss it. The
weekend is provocative and stimulating. We hike, bike, exercise or just relax in the
San Bernardino Mountains. Great food, great conversation, great friends!
